The wet/dry mix is set to 50% for a classic effect. Dreamy– A lush delay that showcases the beauty of slow modulation with time-smearing, grit and a filter that focuses the tone of the repeats over time. This one goes on and on… Roto– A sub-5 millisecond delay with lots of modulation and a full-wet mix creates a great rotary speaker vibe. Add some filtering and a touch of grit for smoke-filled venues. DigSubdivide - A straight digital carbon-copy delay. The TimeLine’s sub-divide settings make this kind of rhythmic delay easy to achieve. Chorus– A slowly modulated delay of 25ms or so with no repeats and a 50% wet/dry mix creates a classic chorus. The TimeLine creates a beautiful stereo image and allows you to tailor the sound with the filter, grit and smear controls. This clip showcases a clean, full-bandwidth chorus sound. Spacey– A short delay with repeats set at maximum to ensure oscillations. Add a heavy dose of slow modulation to tilt everything sideways. The grit and filtering create a fat, musical runaway delay. At the end of the guitar notes, the delay time knob is tweaked for some sci-fi fun. Take your Dramamine for this one. Reverse – Always fun to play with, the TimeLine’s Reverse mode allows for a full 2.5 second of delay with all features fully functional. ResoEQ– This example shows how a short delay (1 to 10ms) with lots of feedback (repeats) creates a resonant filter with tuning determined by the delay time. This is essentially a flanger with a Manual control. This clip shows the same riff with different delay times. Dry at first, then various delay times.
